What is it? the Multilateral Agreement on Investment - an almost secret trade agreement made under OECD which would have reduced almost to nothing any ability of a democratic government to control the activities of corporations. A wave of popular protest to the MAI in 1998 has delayed, and possibly derailed the agreement.Added By: Caden
